Ways to make your room cozy

I think my bedroom is probably the place where I spend the most time in this world, so I love to keep it pretty. Besides, what feels better than waking up in a beautiful place? Today I wanted to share with you some ways to make your bedroom the cosiest place it can be.

1. Bedding

Let's start with the basics. What's the biggest thing in your room? Because in mine, it's my bed. And what covers most of it? That's right! A pretty bedding can change  the look of your room completely! Ever since I stopped using those old sheets that had been in my house for as long as I can remember, I feel like my bedroom has turned into such a lovely place to be.

2. Pillows

Anyone who knows me and/or has ever been to my bedroom knows how much I love pillows. In my opinion, pillows are the easiest (and probably cheapest) way to spice up your bed and make it super comfortable at the same time! Lying on a bed full of pillows makes me feel as if I was sitting on a cloud for some reason.

3. Blankets

I love to throw a little blanket at the end of my bed. Specially during the winter. It makes everything look extra cozy and it really comes it handy. Sometimes I just like to sit on that side and the simple act of lying my feet on it makes them feel a lot warmer.

4. Rug

One thing I have always wanted for my bedroom was a fluffy rug to step on when I get out of bed. At the moment is in my wishlist, but some day I will have one.

5. String lights

I think these are a must. I like all kind of these, which made it extremely hard for me to choose which ones to add to my room. I saw fairy lights, and I wanted them. Then I saw some flower ones, I wanted those. And right now, I have some lanterns.

6. Candles

Oh! How I love candles! Tea lights, shaped candles, jars, melt candles... Especially scented ones! My mom says she loves entering my room because it always smells great and I think it's actually true! I have so many candles in my room in Spain that the scent makes it a place you will never want to leave.

7. Wall art

An empty wall is just too boring. So you will need to decorate it. You can use painting or you can use my favorite option... vinyl stickers! They can be removed whenever you want and move them around or add new ones...
