DIY Post-its garland

Am I the only one who loves post-it notes (specially if they come in different colors) but has never ever finished an entire pack of them? Well, if anyone out there is like me, I have the perfect idea for what to do with them! This super cute and easy DIY garland made (almost) completely of post-it notes!

You know when you're so bored of studying that you get distracted by literally anything? The other way I started messing around with some scissors wondering how exactly they worked since they're not very sharp if you think about it. So I started making little cuts on a post-it not and next thing I now, this was hanging over my desk!

To do this, you will need:

  • Post-it notes
  • Adhesive tape
  • Scissors
  • Thread
  • A needle

Start by making some cuts on your post-it that go up to the area with glue.

Next, roll the whole thing up, forming a tassel.

To make sure it wouldn't unfold, I used some adhesive tape on the part closest to the cuts

Finally, insert a needle through the top part and insert every "tassel" into a thread to form your garland.

Just keep going until you reach your desired length.

I hope you like this idea! Let me know if you try it!

  2. What distracts me the most is the glitter gel pens that I keep near by, I always end up doodling! :)
