The Christmas Tag

I saw this tag in Milk Bubble Tea and I knew I had to do it! I love Christmas, and I love tags so... this was perfect! I'm so in the Christmas spirit already but nobody around me seems to be too, so I'm hoping this will also help to spread it a little bit! 1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

Well... I think I have two: Elf, and Love Actually. They're so typical I know! But I just love them and I need to watch them every single Christmas. And when I was little I used to be crazy about Miracle on 34th Street.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

It's different in Spain because it's The Three Wise Men who bring the presents so... I open my gifts on the 6th of January (morning).

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

When I was little, I used to go to my dad's hometown for The Three Wise Men night. They would first arrive at a short of arena, after a big show. Then there was the parade, and then we would go to a house my aunt has in a small village to have dinner with all my family (which is a pretty large family). There is a castle next to her house and they always told me that was where they lived and stored their presents, which I obviously believed, so I would sit by the window and looked at the castle hoping I would see them.

Because they lived next to my aunt's house, it was one of the first houses where they left the presents, so they would leave them at like noon, instead of while I was sleeping. So I didn't have to wait to open my gifts! And so that we wouldn't see them, they would take the light away. I now know my family would turn them off from time to time to make me think they were leaving my gifts upstairs. After a few of these moments, it was time to check if they had come and... well.. gifts!!

4. favourite festive food?

Hhmmm... Panettone, I think.

5. Favourite Christmas gift ?

This is a hard one. I wish I could think of one I received as a kid but... my polaroid z2300.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

Can I say Yankee Candle's Christmas Cupcake? Or the scent of Nespresso's Christmas coffees. They smell like Christmas for some reason.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Not really. Just dinner with my family...

8. What tops your tree?

I'd like to say a star, but the truth is we lost ours, so last year my sister and I decided a Christmas hat would do.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I can't think of anything right now...

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

Umm... everything! Having no class, the cold, the snow, ice-skating rinks, Christmas decorations, dinners with my family, gifts (giving and receiving), Christmas sweaters, Christmas drinks, Christmas music...
