Decorative camera

You will need:

• Two soda cans
• A piece of cardboard
• X-acto knife
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Hot blue

Necesitas:

• Dos latas
• Un trozo de cartón
• Cuter
• Tijeras
• Regla
• Pegamento térmico.

Cut the top and bottom of the cans. Don’t throw them away yet.
Corta las partes de arriba y debajo de las latas. No las tires todavía.

Cut a straight line where the “ugly” part ends and the "nice" one starts.
Corta una línea recta donde la parte “fea” termina y la “bonita” empieza.

Cut a 6cmx13cm piece from each can. Then, glue the 6cm extremes so that you will have one single tube.
Corta un trozo de 6cmx13cm de cada lata. Pega los lados de 6cm para formar un único tubo.

Cut a 10.5cm-long piece of cardboard and a 10.5cm-long piece of can and glue the cardboard to the center of the can in a T-shape.
Corta un trozo de cartón de 10.5cm de largo y otro de 10.5cm de largo de lata y pega el cartón en el centro de ésta como formando una T.

Insert the cardboard into the can tube and trim the borders of the piece of can that’s glued to the cardboard.
Mete el cartón dentro del tubo de lata y recorta los extremos de la pieza de lata que va pegada al cartón.

For the objective, we’ll use one of the top parts. Pull the part that goes down when you open the can back up. Then, put it upside down and cut as flat as you can. Then glue it to the camera.
Para el objetivo, usaremos una de las partes de arriba. Sube la parte que se mete en la lata al abrirla. Pon la pieza boca abajo y recórtala tan planita como puedas. Luego, pégala a la cámara.

For the part on top, cut a 5cmx3cm piece and fold in two halves (horizontally). Then, make a cut about 1cm deep into the folding line. Then, fold the borders to give then a trapezoid shape. Paste it to the camera.
Para la pieza que va arriba, recorta un trozo de lata de 5cm por 3cm y dóblala por la mitad horizontalmente. Haz dos cortes de un centímetro aproximadamente en la línea que se forma al doblarla. Dobla los extremos como formando un trapezoide. Pégala a la cámara.

Glue of the rings to the top of the camera to look like the button.
Pega una de las anillas a la cámara como si fuese el botón.
